Future

Our future endeavours, as stated previously, focus on integrating the SLCG in a range of media uses. this ultimately breaks a barrier of communication between non-verbal individuals and the world, so if applied to real life, there is a possibility to introduce it to other forms of technology. Moreover, we would like to make the glove more accessible by finding a way to link it to facial expressions, since ASL or sign language in general is a multi-modal language, using facial expressions as well as gestures. We would also like to store other types of sign language on the glove such as BSL.

Moving forward, we would find a way to attach the micro:bit in a cleaner format, perhaps through a magnet, we would also produce the second glove to go along with the first, which is directly identical. We would also find an alternative to the spandex glove, to make it suitable for everyday use.
